Pollenary — Privacy Policy

The short version. Pollenary has no accounts and no logins. We never ask for your name, your email, or your phone number, and we have no way to work out who you are. We store a ZIP code, your alert settings, and a notification token. That is all.

What we store

Data	Why
ZIP code	To look up the pollen forecast for your area. We do not use GPS or any device location.
Alert settings	Which allergens you want, at what level, and how many days ahead.
Notification token	An anonymous identifier Apple issues so we can deliver push notifications. It identifies a device, not a person.
Install identifier	A random ID generated on your device on first launch. It lets us apply fair-use limits and remember whether you subscribed. It is not linked to you, your Apple Account, or any other app.

What we do not do

No accounts, sign-ups, passwords, names, emails or phone numbers.
No GPS or precise location. A ZIP code is as specific as it gets, and you type it in.
No advertising, no ad identifiers, no ad networks.
No analytics or tracking SDKs.
We never sell, rent or share your data. There is nothing personal to sell.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties

To show you a forecast we send only a ZIP code, or the latitude and longitude it maps to to these services. We never send them anything about you.

Pollen.com	A ZIP code. Used only to name the plants in the air.
Apple Push Notification service	Your notification token and the alert text.
Supabase	Hosts our database and server code.

Subscriptions

Pollenary Plus is billed by Apple. Payment is handled entirely by Apple and we never see your payment details. Our server checks the receipt Apple signs, and stores only whether this install has an active subscription and when it expires.

Children

Pollenary is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Deleting your data

Turn alerts off in Settings, or delete the app, and your notification token stops working; the record is removed automatically the first time a notification fails to deliver. To have everything erased immediately, email the address below and include nothing more than the request — since we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to look you up by, so ask from the app using the Support link and we will clear the associated record.
